Brian Meakin is a self taught practitioner of solid honest blues rock guitar playing. from the age of 16 Brian has been absorbing the skills and passion for playing of such guitar gods as Hendrix, Ray Vaughan and Gallagher. Brian has been in many different line-ups during his career until he went out in his own name. Colette Cassidy has been a constant presence on the dublin jazz scene for the last 10 years, a striking singer of endless imagination, she holds the stage effortlessly playing with some of Ireland’s leading jazz musicians. Since having a baby 2 years ago, she is now working on new material with Drazen Derek (guitar) and is currently in the process of recording an album to be finished by this summer. She has been a regular guest vocalist with Isotope on the thursday gig in JJ’s. The musicans who back her are Dublin’s finest, such as Myles Drennan, Dave Fleming, Richie Buckley, Shane O Donavan and Drazen Derek.
